The Haldia port is about 110 Kms from Calcutta and it takes about 4 hrs to reach Haldia from alcutta through road transport. Our workshop is on an area of 3000 sq.ft. ALL THE SHIP REPAIR ACTIVITIES ARE CARRIED OUT THROUGH OUR CALCUTTA OFFICE / WORKS. .

NH 41 links Haldia with NH 6, connecting Calcutta with Chenni and Mumbai. There is also a State Hignway runing parallel to the NH 41 which similarly connects Haldia with the network of National Highways. Due to its advantageous location and road connections, it is possible for vehicular traffic to by-pass Calcutta. HDC has excellent road links with the rest of the country and significant percentage of its traffic, including container traffic, is received/ despatched by road.
